Nicholas B. Mr. Spirtos holds a Class B General Building Contractor License from the California Contractors State License Board. As an attorney and licensed contractor, Nick has a unique insight into construction related issues. ‘
Mr. Spirtos is known throughout the California legal and swimming pool industry as the “go-to” attorney for all manner of swimming pool issues. Nick is regularly consulted by national pool industry organizations. He presents seminars and lectures across the country to pool industry groups and in California to attorney organizations. He is consulted regularly by other attorneys on swimming pool issues. Nick is also involved in the creation of industry standards and guidelines used by pool industry professionals and various governing and inspecting agencies.
Mr. Spirtos did his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine. While in high school and college and for several years after, Nick worked in the construction field, eventually obtaining a license as a general contractor. He started his own construction firm which performed construction of residential and commercial projects, both new construction and remodels. While still operating his construction firm, Nick attended law school and received his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University.
Nick is a member of several legal professional organizations, including the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and others. He is admitted to practice before all State and Federal courts in California.
